iSIGN is proud to announce that it’s current interim Chief Executive Officer, Alex Romanov, has been asked by York University to participate in discussions concerning curriculum design for the launch of their new Computer Science program at their Markham campus.
The Markham Campus, opening in the fall of 2023, will embed York University in the heart of one of the most diverse and dynamic urban communities in both the province and country. Reflecting the local economy, academic programs and research will revolve around the core themes of technology and entrepreneurship and how they are driving innovation across all areas of knowledge and society.
Challenging the traditions of what a university campus can offer, Markham Campus will act as a unique meeting place for students to interact directly with employers, start-up companies and community partners from across York Region.
iSIGN’s technology team will be pleased to participate in these discussions and to enter into ongoing communications with the University on technology design and development, including contact tracing solutions and advances in the home care devices to mitigate unnecessary visits to doctors, medical clinics and emergency rooms, including the use of safe entry and verifiable COVID/Omicron alerts and verifications.
