Omni Veil Update

As reported November 18, iSIGN's Senior Technician/Business Development, Systems and Data was in Las Vegas during the later part of last week to discuss Hi-Tek's ongoing needs and requirements from a scaling perspective, as well as their next step requirements for hardware. Hi-Tek reported that the initial installations into emergency vehicles were accomplished without problems or issues.  Further, Hi-Tek stated that the initial Omni Veil vehicular installations would be going live on or about December 5. Additionally, it was agreed that any future needs for technological discussions/conversations would be handled via webinar with all necessary parties, as opposed to having face to face visits.  The desire for webinars is to reduce the costs of gathering all parties into one location that can be difficult to schedule and ensures that meetings can be held on a cost and time efficient and effective basis.

  1. a security alert system, providing safety, information and security;
  2. a system providing client messaging and advertising;
  3. a system providing wireless service for guests in select locations;
  4. a system providing Bluetooth and Wi-Fi messaging from both mobile and stationary (Brick and mortar) locations.

iSIGN Accepted as an Approved Vendor to the Ontario Government

iSIGN's application for approved vendor status has been accepted and approved.  This is the first step in being considered for involvement in any Ontario Provincial Government project requiring our specialized technology and hardware for messaging, including safety and security. The Government of Ontario has recently announced a $765 million upgrade of their public service radio network that is "sorely needed to protect public safety."  This system, used by first responders, is prone to daily outages and , as stated by the Government, needs to be modernized as it has experienced frequent failures.  The purpose of this network is to help thousands of first responders communicate and co-ordinate during forest fires, police operations and medical emergencies.  This contract, awarded to Bell for the needed changes as well as for related maintenance, is for 15 years, with transition into the new network to begin in 2021 and is expected to be fully operational by June 2023. Being an approved vendor enables our technology to be considered for possible use with this network as well as for any other communication and safety systems the Government of Ontario elects to undertake. Communications with the Ontario government was initiated upon the announcement by the City of Richmond Hill that iSIGN had been chosen as one of their Innovators of the Year for 2019, which was presented to those companies judged to be "disruptive innovators that bring state-of-the-art technologies and processes to the world."  On the evening of the award ceremonies, each of the four award winners were presented with commendations from the Government of Ontario.  iSIGN's commendation was for our contributions "in the field of Proximity Marketing and personal Security Alert Messaging to mobile phones." iSIGN's solutions, including Security Alert Messaging (SAM), would allow the Province to Quickly and effectively distribute urgent information in times of crisis. https://www.supplypro.ca/ontario-spending-765-million-to-upgrade-public-safety-radio-network/
