SAM's core strength is the ability to message members to give them critical information in a time of crisis that will enable them to get out of harm's way as quickly and safely as possible. To accomplish this, we interact with members using many channels including SMS, Email, Apps Proximity Messaging and, or course, Digital Signage. Social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) can also be integrated into SAM at the request of any SAM operator.

Engage your SAM network users by providing them with regular update messages. That way, you can feel confident that SAM messages will reach users in case of an emergency. SAM also allows you to use digital signage and kiosks in your SAM network to post directions in case of an emergency.

Route users to safety using content that includes static graphics, animations, and videos. Get user's attention regardless of whether they are looking up or down at their device screen. Users also have the ability to filter promotional content to ensure that they only get the messages they want.

Track Wi-Fi connected devices and Bluetooth-discoverable devices in real-time when they are near iSIGN's Smart Antenna. This helps rescuers locate users in your network to support a faster rescue. Track your SAM network user engagement via email receptions, mobile messages, or website and app screen views.

Fast & Cost-Effective

In a matter of seconds, reach out to tens of thousands of users over multiple communication paths. Leverage the SAM network to increase security and safety in public areas, businesses, and government organizations.

Rebranding and Customization Options

SAM rebranding and customization is an expected step within any operator implementation. It has been designed for rebranding by network operators, facility managers, etc. Customization can include the addition of SAM functionality (e.g. app wayfinding) or messaging channels (e.g. Twitter integration). Typically, the following SAM elements will be rebranded:

  • SAM Back End for messaging and user control.
  • SAM Front End for users to join and become members and then to access their account to change preferences or view loyalty points.
  • SAM app for users to join, view account details and to receive real-time SAM messages.

To offset SAM rebranding, customization, installation, and operational costs and support very profitable installs - SAM can support commercial messaging in addition to security messaging. Additionally, SAM can support the sales of data describing member behavior.

Full Details

Using messaging to support advertising is an obvious approach to generating a revenue stream from a SAM implementation. Because SAM technology tracks user location, messaging within proximity to a retailer or service provider is supported. This ensures a much higher value for messages. Critically, SAM messaging channels are measurable - further increasing message value. Member location tracking, notifications as well as click-throughs are measured. These parameters support building a user profile, enabling targeted messaging and driving messaging value (and revenue) even higher.

Additional Customization

Users (before becoming members) can be tracked using their static Wi-Fi MAC address, Android for Advertising ID (AAID) and/or Apple ID for Advertising (IDFA). When becoming members, terms and conditions can support coupling these data points with their name, email, cell phone number, etc. SAM supports full user opt-in ensuring privacy when required and ensuring comprehensive user data can be recorded when members are supportive.

Digital Signage Integration

SAM supports direct integration with an existing, very simple signage solution out of the box and it is designed to be extended to work with any Digital Signage solution that supports external control of signage content. As a bare minimum, SAM needs an API or web service interface that can be used to upload simple graphics (e.g. jpg or png file) for immediate display (60 sec or less delay). Ideally, SAM would also be able to programmatically select from preloaded content (video or static graphics) using this same interface (60 or less delay still applies).

Typically, SAM would function as an interface client or consumer to control signage content, but if required - an existing signage solution could function as a client or consumer of a SAM interface. In this alternative paradigm, the signage solution would subscribe to be notified of a SAM event and upon receiving the notification, read SAM emergency message details and then display these details within signage.
